Why is business content priced differently from personal brand?#
It is not about the amount of content — it is about what goes into the session. A personal brand shoot works with one person who already has a face and a voice, and the crew builds around that. A business has no single face, so the personality of the brand has to be found through the team, the space, the process and the product. That means coordinating several people, trying combinations and working through angles until something feels authentic. The creative effort is higher because the brand’s identity has to be discovered on set, not just captured.
What is included in a content package?#
Every package includes a two-person crew on location, all the editing, the finished pieces ready to publish, the raw footage from the shoot, and direct line support. A one-off business package books up to two hours on location — around an hour and a half of that is filming — and returns four reels, two story videos, one image post and one carousel. Nothing is quoted as an extra afterwards.
Do you cover events?#
Yes. Event coverage starts at A$550 for two hours on site. The crew captures the highlights rather than recording the event end to end, and every package returns two pieces: a highlight reel of about a minute for social, and an edited summary of up to ten minutes to keep. The A$750 package adds a third hour, a second highlight reel and crowd interaction — the crew interviews guests during the event instead of only filming them.
Is there a minimum commitment for ongoing packages?#
Ongoing packages run on a three-month minimum, billed fortnightly, and there is a reason for the three months. A single session rarely produces the best results, because the crew and the client are still learning each other — how the space works, which formats feel natural, what style reflects the brand most honestly. The first session almost always runs longer and involves more experimenting. By the second and third there is more chemistry and more flow. Three months is roughly when a feed stops looking like scattered posts and starts reading as a brand. One-off shoots and event coverage have no commitment at all.
What types of businesses do you work with?#
Wave Motions Studio works with restaurants, cafés, fitness studios, trades, professional services, community organisations and event producers across Perth. The approach is the same regardless of industry: the crew comes to the location, captures what makes the business real, and turns it into content that fits the platforms the audience already uses.
